9 Simple, Surprising Ways to Whiter Your Teeth..

Amazing Tips to Improve Your Smile....

A radiant smile not only looks great, but it can also increase your chances on a girlfriend. According to a recent study, 71 percent of women say they judge a man based on their teeth. Translation: A bright smile will really help you to be more attractive to women. "A smile can be very attractive: a whiter smile is interesting and exciting," says Arthur Glosman, dentist at Beverly Hills.

An independent research agency discovered that the shining smile with whiter teeth can help someone to get a dream job. The results showed that candidates are 58% more likely to find a job and 53% more likely to get a wage increase if their teeth are white. The food to take? A marvellous smile with whiter teeth can stand out among a crowd of candidates. "Having a whiter smile highlights the self-image and leaves an extraordinary mark in the interview," says Dr. Glosman.

Of course there are the usual methods of bleaching: toothpaste, mouthwash, gums and expensive professional treatments. There are also simple, everyday habits that can make your smile more cheerful.

Following are the 9 very simple ways to whiten your teeth.

DO NOT:

Use baking soda

Baking soda can be a multi-talent cleaner for your home, but not for your teeth. This chemical compound is an abrasive, which means it helps remove stains, but it can also be harmful. After continuous use it can go enamel, causing the teeth to darken.

Eat dark foods

There are amazing foods and herbs that the dentist, Dr. Debra Glassman, put on his list "do not eat". He avoids Marinara sauce, cranberries and soy sauce, he says, because food with very dark pigmentation spots can cause stains.

Guzzle energy drinks

In addition to suspects of usual stains (coffee, tea and red wine), avoid energy drinks. The acid they contain may have the same effects of erosion as the consumption of citrus fruits, just bathing your teeth. Do you still want me to pick you up? Dr. Glassman says, that using of straw while drinking can protect your teeth.

DO:

Change your toothbrush

A whiter smile can be as simple as throwing away your old toothbrush. According to Dr. Glosman, "Replace a toothbrush every three months, or as soon as you see, it usually starts to bend and looks worn." Once the hair is worn, your toothbrush does not clean properly.

Brush your tongue

Brushing your tongue is not just for fresh breath. Dr. Glassman says it can also help to prevent stains. Your tongue collects bacteria, which can eventually cause staining. Use a soft toothbrush and long movements from the back of the tongue, rinsing the brush after each stroke. This helps to remove the bacteria in the brush without placing it on the tongue.

Rinse with apple vinegar

Although not as effective as others, more conventional bleaching treatments are a natural and organic way to maintain a healthy smile. Dr. Glassman recommends mixture of water and apple cider vinegar with the ratio of 2:1 and swishing the solution around for one minute.

Eat raw fruits and vegetables

Eating fruit, vegetables and other crunchy food is good for your body and teeth. Dr. Glosman says that if you add raw carrots, apples, nuts and cauliflower in your daily meal, it can help keep your teeth clean by removing superficial stains and plaque that leads to holes.

Use gel trays instead of strips

Experts are divided on the effectiveness of bleaching strips. Dr. Glassman says she is not a fan of bands because she does not evenly distribute the bleaching paste. The teeth are usually darker near the gumline where the bands can not come. Instead, she recommends using gel trays with bleach.

Rinse with water after eating oranges

Although they are a good choice for vitamin C, citrus fruits, such as lemons and limes, contain acid that affects tooth enamel. This can make teeth easier to color. The solution? Rinse your mouth with water immediately after eating these fruits to wash away the destructive acid from your teeth.
