Making of a Cup of Coffee Without a Coffee Maker..
Or maybe you are traveling and you just realized
the place you are staying at doesn’t even have a coffee maker!
First, don’t panic. You can make cup of
coffee in many ways without using a coffee maker.
It is true that you all have become quite
fond of the modern technology of a coffee maker but in the past, that wasn’t
how coffee was made. In fact, using coffee makers is a very new invention,
keeping in view the long history of coffee. So, there are many other ways you
can continue to make coffee until we bought a new coffee maker to make your
morning brew.
Method 1
The Saucepan method
The simplest method, using the Saucepan method, takes only a few
tools in almost every kitchen in the country. Although you do not need anything
special, your coffee needs some attention if you want to prepare the perfect Saucepan Coffee without a coffee maker.
» Add the coffee to the water and mix the coffee and water mixture.
» Light the fire over medium heat and bring the coffee to the boil, stirring occasionally.
» Let the coffee boil for 2 minutes when the coffee is boiling.
» Remove the pan from the heat and switch off the oven. This allows all motifs to sink to the bottom.
» Leave the coffee in the pan for about 4 minutes.
» Slowly pour the coffee into a cup or ladle and slowly fill the cup of coffee.
Method 2
The coffee bag
This method really gives you the feeling of MacGyver, since
you have to use the first hour in the morning what you have available to get
that cup of coffee you need. For this method you need a coffee filter and a
chain. Every old rope is sufficient, just make sure it is not covered with
plastic or that something is melting in your coffee. Who wants to melt plastic?
» Measure enough coffee for a cup and pour it into your
filter.
» Wrap the filter firmly around the coffee and tie it with
a wire, leaving enough rope to rest from your cup.
» Heat the water with a kettle, pot or even a cup in the
microwave.
» Place the coffee filter bag that you have made into an
empty cup.
» Slowly pour hot water into the cup and make sure that you
do not overflow the cup.
» Let the coffee draw for about 4 minutes. If you prefer a
weaker coffee, try 2 to 3 minutes. For a stronger coffee, increase the time to
5 or 6 minutes.
» Remove the filter and discard it.
Method 3
Coffee strainer
If you do not have a filter to keep floors out of your
coffee, you can still use a colander. No other old filter will work, however.
Make sure you use a sieve with very small holes that catch the ground coffee
and do not leave your coffee cup.
» Measure the correct amount of water for the number of
cups you want to prepare and place this water in a jar or pot.
» Add the correct amount of coffee for the number of cups
you make. If you want your coffee to be lower, add less coffee. If you want,
add some extra coffee to your stove.
» Heat the pan or kettle to the boil and let it boil for 2
minutes.
» Remove the pan from the heat.
» Place a tea strainer on your coffee cup and pour the
coffee into your cup. The sieve picks up any reason that comes out of the pan.
Method 4
Instant coffee
Although I am sure that many coffee lovers reject this
approach completely, because they say it is not the real coffee you drink, it
is still an effective way to get your coffee fixation, there are no other
options available to you.
» Heat the coffee with your microwave, a pot or even an
electric kettle.
» Measure the correct amount of instant coffee and place it
in an empty cup.
» Slowly pour hot water over the instant coffee.
» Mix the coffee and water until the instant coffee
dissolves
